Mixer at Sister Louisa's!

New year - new you - new business plan ... well, that's what you were planning before Snow Week hit, right? The crew at LRBN are ringing in a belated back-to-it event on Monday, January 31st at ... wait for it ... Sister Louisa's Church of the Living Room and Ping Pong Emporium on the corner of Edgewood and Boulevard.

Thanks to the writings of Hollis Gillespie - and the loyal patrons of the Local - Grant Henry and his artist alter-ego Sister Louisa have been a fixture in the ATL-alt scene for years. Finally in a retail establishment of his own, Henry has transformed the former Danneman's space into a two-story testament to his artistic vision. If you're not familiar with his work - you are in for a treat!

Join the LRBN crew for a very special meet and mingle mixer - this place is great! As Henry was quoted in ProjectQAtlanta's interview: “Church on Edgewood is all about love and welcomes the conversation that is about to ensue."

Logistics: The Edgewood corridor is what we call "transitional" - utilize street parking and common sense and just say NO to bums. Grab a buddy walking back to your car if they worry you. "Church" has a picnic menu from Home Grown (another awesome indie biz) -- think hot dogs, onion dip, and CHEAP drinks. Set up a tab at the bar downstairs, grab your drinks, and head upstairs to find us! And while this is a bar, please don't feel obligated to have a drink if your resolutions prohibit it. Church don't mind if you just want a soda :)
