small business loans for women...

hey y'all!

i'm originally an atlanta native and just moved back after living in NYC for 3 years. where should i go to look into small business loans if i want to open up a shop? i would love any advice!

hi ginny.

i am currently opening a shop of my own and was recently told by a lady in my accountability group that Sam's (yes, the wholesale warehouse giant :-)) had just released a program for small businesses, lending up to $25,000. It is a pilot program for the warehouse giant and it sounded as if they are basically giving it away. I have not personally had a chance to look into it yet, but it may be worth a shot.

I do not know how much $ you are needing but feel free to give me a buzz and maybe we can discuss a little more!
